Work Faster with a Smart Editor
Produce high-quality code more efficiently, thanks to first-class support for Ruby and Rails, JavaScript and CoffeeScript, ERB and HAML, CSS, Sass and Less, and more.
Take advantage of the language specific-aware syntax & error highlighting, code formatting, code completion, and quick documentation.
Find Your Way Around
Use smart search to jump to any class, file or symbol, or even any IDE action or tool window. It only takes one click to switch to the declaration, super method, test, usages, implementation, and more.
Enjoy super fast navigation in your Rails project with an MVC-based project view and model, class, and gem dependencies diagrams.
Detect & Eliminate Code Smells
Follow community best practices with code inspections verifying your code for many types of possible errors and providing on-the-fly improvements with quick-fix options.
Automated yet safe refactorings help clean up your code and keep it more maintainable. Rails-aware refactorings help you perform project-wide changes: for example renaming a controller will also rename the helper, views, and tests.
Test & Debug with Pleasure
Use the powerful debugger with a graphical UI for Ruby, JavaScript, and CoffeeScript. Set breakpoints, run your code step by step and make use of all the available information at your fingertips.
Create and run RSpec, Cucumber, Shoulda, MiniTest & Test::Unit tests with coding assistance and a GUI-based test runner.

Course details
Join Kevin Skoglund as he shows how to create full-featured, object-oriented web applications with the latest version of the popular, open-source Ruby on Rails framework. This course explores each part of the framework, best practices, and real-world development techniques. Plus, get hands-on experience by building a complete content management system with dynamic, database-driven content. Kevin teaches how to design an application; route browser requests to return dynamic page content; structure and interact with databases using object-oriented programming; create, update, and delete records; and implement user authentication. Previous experience with Ruby is recommended, but not required.

Welcome
We're almost done with all the installations we need to be able to develop with Ruby on Rails. The last thing is to make sure that you have a good text editor which you can use for writing your code. Mac OS X comes with a very simple text editor called TextEdit, or you may have some word processing programs like Microsoft Word, or OpenOffice or Pages. none of those applications are suitable for developing with code. They're all going to add extra information to the file that we don't want, like what font you're using and where the margins are set at. Instead, we need an application that's designed not be a, just a text editor, but to be a code editor. There are a few key features that we want to look for. The first is that you want something that does code coloring or syntax highlighting. That is that it understands the language that we're programming in well enough that different parts of the language can be assigned different colors. So for example if we are programming in Ruby…

Fill text using powerpoint 2016. Since the two tracks were exported from the same file, they should be the same length; this means you should only have to match the start of the audio track with the start of the video track. Drag the video and audio files to the Timeline of iMovie, and then line up the audio track with the video track so that they are in sync.
